started getting in some work for the 2014 deer season this past weekend at The Redbird Ranch in Leesville. Assembled 2 new feeders and pens, as well as shredding/trimming mesquites for new roads. ya can't shoot the monster in the fall unless you put in the blood and sweat in the spring! here's a couple before/after pictures of the ranch as well as new feeders, with our custom camo on them!

Checked the game cameras, and we had a nice new buck that we'd never seen before show up at a feeder.

Until next time,
-Drew

Nice 8 point youngun. He'll be awesome in 2 years.

Thanks everyone! We'll be throwing up some more game camera pictures as the offseason goes on. We're planning to book hunts for the fall, starting around the beginning of the summer.

That 8 looks pretty old to me... Look at all the staining on his back legs and how he sits up on his front legs

JMalin, he looks like a 3.5-4.0 years old in most of the other pictures, I'll have to post another when I get home from work. But any and all interpretations/aging guesses are sure welcome!

Nice pics. IMO that buck is older that what his rutted down body shows. I would put him at 5.

Western - We got a few out there! We'll be setting up some PVC pipe feeders for the squealers in a couple weeks...hopefully we can get them coming out on a daily basis so we can lay some down!
