Some one help me out. I know that along with appearance one of the differences between Mouflon and Corsican is the length of the tail. Can someone explain to me what to look for?
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

They can have the color, saddle, heart shape horn, but if their tails are 7 to 8 inches long they are not pure. The tail should be closer to 4 inches.

Some one help me out. I know that along with appearance one of the differences between Mouflon and Corsican is the length of the tail. Can someone explain to me what to look for? The main thing I look for if you can't see their tails is their Ears.....A Pure Mouflon (or any true wild sheep) Ears will point upwards usually at a 45 degree angle, mix the smallest amount of Domestic Blood and their ears will be dead level or horizontal, Obviously on Rams their ears can only point upward so far, but look at any Corsican Ram and there will be daylight between their horns and ears.....also A Pure Mouflon's ears will be pointed at the tips, whereas a Corsican's ears will be round at the tips!

Thanks for all the info. I had them at 15 yards tonight and they had really short tails. Just didn't go under the net like they have been.
