They're all over Real county. Closer to the rivers and creeks are where the Axis like to roam. But they can show up anywhere. Hogs are everywhere as are WT. Lots of Aoudad up in the hills.

My father in law has some land just north of Leakey. It's pretty high up in the hills, away from water. So that probably has a lot to do the hunting there. There are plenty of hogs. Whitetail numbers aren't great, but they're there. We have pictures of some aoudad but I've never seen them in person. Never seen an axis around there either but they're definitely all over the river just like was said before.

That sounds like a lot of the land further up in the hills . . Though I've seen some big groups of axis up in the hills too.

I've had Axis on camera along with Aoudad, WT, and some of the biggest, nastiest looking Russian strain hogs I've ever seen.
