Anyone do business with these guys? I've had an order in since November and cannot get them to respond to email or phone. Charged my CC when order was placed and said 4 weeks. It's going on 3+ months.

Reviews show I'm far from alone. Richard seems(d) like a great guy but this is horrible service. I'm hoping he didn't go out of business and take everyone's money.

If anyone else has had any dealings let me know. He works out of his garage and I always pick my orders up so I think I'm gonna drop by as soon as I get a chance.

I swapped into a box of Friendswood Bullet Co's 230gr LRN (approx. 300 left in the box). Wouldn't you know it my S&W 625 likes this bullet more than anything else I've tried. Only thing keeping me from ordering another 500 or 1,000 are the horrible reviews about their service. I've tried to call them about 10 times over the last 2 weeks and no one ever answers the phone. It's a shame.

Carter Country locations in the Houston area stock Friendswood Bullets, though their inventory is pretty low from what I saw last visit. I asked the counter guys about their deliveries and they said I'd have to check with the CC buyer as he deals with all vendors.

Last time I picked up at the FB location, Richard had hired a guy to help and his wife went back to work. He works out of his garage and his office is his kitchen. He was extremely busy, but these lead times and so many bad reviews have me worried that he may have shut it down for some reason. Or he's just completely overwhelmed. No time to reply to calls or emails I suspect. I know for a fact he does not answer the phone or have anyone that does since his wife went to outside work. It sounded like they were getting on each other's nerves being in such close quarters night and day.....Don't know what to read into that if anything.

I'm gonna try and stop there as soon as I can.

Hate to hear all that. He does seem to make a quality product. At least my pistol thinks so, and his prices listed on the website are very reasonable. I may try to find some of his bullets stocked in the stores mentioned on his website next time I'm in the Houston area. I live about 4hrs north of there and don't get that way very often.

Sounds like another Jack Ross fiasco. He probably opened up for orders, and got flooded beyond his capabilities. Most likely bit off more than he could chew.

I have really good luck with these bullets. Fast shipping in 3 to 5 days of my orders. Very reasonable price to.

I finally went to the owner's home where he makes bullets in his garage. He's in a bad place in his personal life.....The big D.

I got my order and wished him well.

Mentioned that he was getting very bad reviews and his reputation and business were being discussed in the negative ways. I suggested he post on his website something about what is happening and He indicated he "might". Better to start answering some emails and messages, but I doubt that will happen, at least for a while.....

Personally I just happy to get what I'd paid for and will sit back and see what happens. If I buy, it will be a face t face deal......If he recovers.

Good luck to ya Richard if you happen to come out and look around.

Don't forget about the small guy! My prices are good and not too busy now.
