I have been having problems with the cables on my popup camper. so it does not raise very easy, and when it does it gets to a certain spot then falls. I was wanting to raise it,and put plywood all the way around it. and making it a hard shell camper. has any done this?

I had the same problem with mine , I started using tension rods from walmart(shower curtain rods)To hold up the ends, takes the pressure off the cable system.
