I am debating on whether a foxpro is worth buying or not. Ive used them with success but also noticed they can get smart to them pretty quick. So yes to the investment or stick with the mouth calls?

IMO there are better electronic calls on the market. Yes FoxPro has the largest library of sounds but the majority of those sounds are a recording of a guy in a recording booth blowing a mouth call. I use electronic calls that are real animal sounds and have had a lot better luck. I have a friend that has a fox pro and we put them head to head one night. He had no luck and I called in a double and a triple. Im sold on the Compucaller.

Not knocking the compucaller. But what you said about the FoxPro library simply isn't true.

All MarkII and Regular sounds are real animal recordings as stated on their website (unless they are false advertising). I've had 2 Foxpros and will have another when I decide to upgrade. They are made in the US and their customer service is second to none. I use handcalls too but my Foxpro does most of the work for me.

I'm hoping for some real insight from this chat. I'm thinking about buying a caller but have no idea which is best.

I'm hoping for some real insight from this chat. I'm thinking about buying a caller but have no idea which is best. Call Allpredatorcalls and ask them what they think; they carry most of them and are great to talk to. Also check out Predator Masters Forums and read up on them. Just calling Foxpro's customer service should make the decision for you. I couldn't decide between the Hellfire, Firestorm, and Fury 2. I ruled the Firestorm out bc if I was gonna buy it I would just spend the extra $100 and get the Fury with the better remote and more features. So that left the Fury and Hellfire. I asked around and finally called Foxpro and the reason I decided Hellfire is 2 different people told me that the batteries during testing lasted 13 hours with the Hellfire and 6 with the Fury (both at 80% volume). The Hellfire is also considerably louder I was told. The Fury remote has a better range but I never set it out passed about 70 yds anyway so that wasn't a concern.

If you want to buy once and be done by a foxpro. If you want to buy now and upgrade later buy another brand. I've hunted numerous stands with the CC3 and the foxpro. IMO foxpro stands above and beyond the others. Yes they cost good money, but it's all worth it when you start putting fur in the truck.

I have a CS24, Hellfire and just added a Wildfire 2 for just my crow sounds.
7 days hunting crows with the Wildfire has netted a little 60 crows on my farm/Pecan orchard.
There are alot of great callers on the market, but there are none better.

One ? that i have never thought about is .....How do they get real animal sounds are they beating the crap out of a rabbit to make it squeal ? I have never saw on FP site where it says they are of real animals but haven't been looking for it and with that said i would think that most calls out there are made by mouth calls by professionals , what is being done with a E cal IMO is making it so you can hunt by yourself ( kind of hands free in a way ) get the sound out further away from yourself or the stand and have many different sounds at your finger tips on demand . Just went and looked at there site and it say real animal vocalization not real live ones so that makes me think that it's just a mouth call.

Foxpro hands down is the best. Great products and 2nd to none in customer service. My only complaint is their callers work so well even a dummy can become a predator hunter. 5 years ago only a handful of folks hunted predators. Now days due to e callers and cable predator hunting shows everyone and their brother think they're predator hunters.
