I have a 2010 800XP and was wondering if there is a way to ruduce the vibration and squeeking. I noticed the 2014's have the engine set back and all bushings have grease zerts. Mine is paid for and still runs like a top so I don't want to get rid of it.

I've pretty much found the squeeking it comes from two places, the shocks and the springs on the exhaust. I spray them down with lubricating oil and it works for about a day.

The vibration in the bed is what I want to get rid of.

Due to vibration, who has had to replace some of the electrical harness? Mine is a 2010 and in 2012 I had to do this . Known problem that Polaris doesn't really care about according to my Polaris dealer in Abilene.

It's right at the top of the engine. Controls rpm and ignition and shifting. The mechanic at Max's went right to it and said it was a known problem. Luckily I had extended warranty then.

thx I'll secure mine

I'm thinking of installing rubber or PTFE washers on the motor mounts and reinforceing the frame near the bed.

Really bad squeak on mine are the bed latches where they lock onto the frame. Lube does not last. Going to try glueing a small piece of rubber under the frame.

Under the bed on each side you will find two rubber spacers attached to the bed that rest on the frame rails. Place two metal washers between the spacer and bed on each side. This makes the latches fit much tighter and the squeak will go away...

Caught in the ice storm right now but will try that as soon as I can. Seems like an easy fix. Thanks.

My roof was making noise too but I took an old inner tube from my boys bike and used it as a buffer. Worked pretty good.
