I have a simple question. About how much do these guns run, what's a good price for a stock one? I've been thinking about buying one for a while but haven't really investigated much. Also do these guns have any weird quirks or anything worth noting? Thanks.

Last time I saw one new it was in the neighborhood of $200. I have one and have had it for about 15 years, it's been a great gun. Plus it's one of the easiest guns out there to trick out if you ever want to, all kinds of stuff you can buy for them. Use factory magazines and they are reliable, I've bought some of the plastic hi capacity after market mags and they never have really worked right. They are great guns.

Wal Mart, Academy and Gander Mt. all sell them. There are several different models so prices will run from around $200-250 depending on the store and the model.

They are great .22s for anything except hitting a cow over the back...the stocks will break.

probably the best rifle buy you will ever make! those 10/22 are awesome! you can keep it the way you buy it, or there are endless modifications you can make to them! even right out of the box they are perfect! and exremely reliable. buy it you will never regret it! i started on one a few years back. i have five of them! they all have different mods. i am buying another one for my son this christmas.
