My first limit was a mixed bag like crazy... It included a Hen shoveler, Mottle duck Drake, Blue wing teal hen, Ring neck drake and hen and a gadwall hen.

5 mallard drakes and a wood duck drake with JJ Kent first hunt too

My first limit was from when I was 15, was also my first two man limit, 2 years after I started hunting... Found the picture. We packed up 2 short with birds still hitting the decoys, because my grandpa couldn't remember if the mergs counted or not!

Back in europe there is no limit on mallards.
The best we had was 140 mallards me and my dad.
I was 12 and got 58, he got the rest.
That was my best hunting memeory from my now passed away dad.

i dont remember, but I know it was before they raised the limit to 6.
I like spoonie, his humor is dryer than my duck lease.

My first limit was a basket full of crappie at Lake O' The Pines. Must have been around 1974. I have yet to get a limit of ducks.

3 blue wing and a greenwing. I think. I can't remember a "self obtained limit" before that. Since then it's been ducks beware.

Can't remember specifically. But I remember I was with my dad on a family property. It was a mix bag of mallards, green wing teal, and pintail.

First of many limits in the old point system when lead shot was legal, 2 wood ducks, that is about the only kind of duck we had in East Mississippi.
Quickest I ever limited out, one shot, one Black duck done.

Coots....LOL No in all seriousness when I was young and shot my first limit I didn't know it was special then so I didn't keep tally. It was all for food back then!!

2006, open week, limit was 5 birds that year, shot 3 green heads, GWT, and a spoonie, all drakes. It was my first solo hunt, first duck hunt for Molly, my first spoonie, and first time shooting green heads.

Widgeon drake and hen, gadwall drake, and three drake greenies last season. One of those days when everything just worked out like it was planned.

All wood ducks in the Angelina river bottom. I think I was 10 hunting with my grandpa. Best memories ever.
