Bo lost his Dad last night due to some Cancer complications. Mud Shark on here: Trent lost his hunting pal "Maverick" last night. Please keep Trent and his family in your thoughts today as they mourn the loss of their hunting Partner. I had the privilege to hunt with Trent and Maverick a couple days this past season. I wish everyone could of been on that hunt with us, maverick was awesome. Hand signals, patient......... couldn't say enough great things about that dog! He will be missed!

I feel your pain coming on. We retired our Weim a few years back and she is starting to show her age. She has been around since my daughter was 1 year old and they are inseparable. My girl is 12 now and the Weim is 11. She was a heck of a quail/pheasant dog in her day. I know it will be a good life lesson for my girl when the time comes, but I just don't know how I will be able to take it. Our dogs not only hunt, but live with us in the house. They are truly members of our family.
