My fiance' and I are headed to San Antonio from Kansas in January and we are looking to hunt while we are there. After Aoudad Sheep. Don't need a guide, nor accomodations... just a place to hunt. I even plan to pack the beasts out on my back so there won't be any driving on your land. We will be there between Jan 11th-18th, 09 and Barbara said I can spend a total of $400 for the both of us to hunt. I know it is not much as far as Texas hunting standards go, but its a lot when you aren't accustomed to paying anything for hunting land. Thanks for the help if you have any. Sincerely, Gary J. Good luck with finding something for that price around here.......
Seen them go for anywhere from $500-2000..............
Don't think $400 for the both of you is going to do it, but if you find someone.......congrats.....and good luck...
Time is not wasted if you spend it with the ones you love.

I believe you are right. If you find a place to hunt Aoudad and there really are some there for $200 a day you better wear your blaze orange so you don't get trampled like the guy at wal-mart.

I have to agree with the others. It may be tough to find land access with aoudad for your price. That is especially true if you are looking for free range. I hope someone can correct me on this, but I haven't heard of any free range aoudad in the San Antonio area. Most free range aoudad I know of are in the Ft. Davis and Palo Duro areas. I could very easily be wrong on that though. I wish you both good luck and good hunting on finding what you are looking for though. If you two get an aoudad while you are here please post up pics

There are a few that you may find around Kerrville or Ingram. But probably nothing less than $1000 minimum.
You find one less than that let us know. I know tons of people that would love a chance at a trophy Aoudad for less than $1000.

The cheepest i found audad for starts at 700.00-3500.00. Nothing for what you are asking you can check a ranch called thompson temple. Stay away from the wildlife ranch its a joke.
