We Have two spots available on our Southern Mills County Lease.
We just had a 15% price increase and we lost some guys, we are adding another gun to help with the costs some.

We have a few hard core hunters and several who rarely hunt (2 did not get in the stand once last year).

We have been feeding protein from February to September for the past 8 years. We are currently seeking permission from the land owner to allow bulk feeding and have a local feed store service our protein feeders. This may or may not be approved, if not each individual is responsible for maintaining a protein feeder in their area.

Each member is responsible to supply their own stand and feeders.

This is a family lease, spouses and children are allowed to hunt of your allotment (1 Trophy, 1 Spike or Doe, 1 Doe). No Bucks under 3.5 yrs old taken and we like to grow the good ones longer. If you shoot a trophy you are expected to take a doe.

We have Deer, Turkey, Dove, hogs, predators, and ducks. We also have quail but not a huntable population. There is also the random report of an exotic here and there around us. I personally saw a black buck across the road from us driving in one day. No one has seen an exotic while hunting so,,,

Guest are allowed year round (1 or 2 don't bring a party), but not allowed to hunt during deer season except for hogs. Guests are allowed to hunt during turkey and dove season.

We have a camp with water and electricity, land owners supplied water we have an account with the Coop for the electricity, that we chip in $100 each a couple of times a year. You will need your own trailer or other sleeping arrangements.

There is drinking on this lease, but not while hunting. So if alcohol turns you off this is not the lease for you. We also eat very well with most everybody chipping in during the season when the camp is full.

It is 1588 Acres, with 13 spots at $2345 a gun, payments of $1172 due in February and August.

This should get filled fast

Any harvest pics? If I do the math right that's almost $20 per acre. Does the LO reneg the price every year?

First price increase in 8 years, we have been expecting an increase in price the last 3. The LO finally did it this year.

Hey guys this is a good lease and set up nicely. Donny and Chuck are good honest guys to hunt with. I hunted with them a few years back and had alot of fun. Really a good trophy mngmt group and thier antler size on their bucks is increasing every year. If my life long friend would not of finally had an opening on his lease this year I would have jumped on this in a second. So from an outsiders point of view this is a real decent lease...

Chuck, I also lease from the C Bar Ranch. I'm guessing but I may be your neighbor to the north. For the last few years I hunted the peak but this year I moved across the road and a few hundred yards south. Do you know Vaughn?

Yes I know Vaughn, Our camp is the one you can see from the road before you get to Vaughn's camp. If you are north of us that would be the mobile home pasture. Some guy over put a blind right on the southern fence line between my blind and the peak up from the little metal barn on our side. The blind is about 225 yards from my blind.

Just a heads up everyone, i have received a ton of phone calls, i have people lined up to look at the lease this weekend, if they fall through, i'll start contacting all of y'all.

Chuck, we haven't moved in yet so the blind is not ours. I've only been to the place once and it was a day trip a few weeks ago. I know where the barn is but I did not see a blind on either side of the fence. There is a feeder about 100 yards on the other side of our west fence line. And yes, we are on the mobile home pasture.
