What lens are you using? I always prefered the Sony lens but the yukon also works.

You're going to like it either way.
Get your biggest brightest IR light ready cause you lose the ability to see through the cascade of lens.
Look forward to your review.

Is that the Dr. Bobs adapter? Yup it was difficult and scary doing it as I had to trim the threads on the scope to get it to screw on.

I wonder if he modified the design as I recall the Dr. Bob's kit being a press fit with 4 grub screws.
What threads did you trim on the scope? I thought the bell housing was a flush mount up to the native lens of the Digisight.
If for whatever reason you get a major shift in zero with the Yukon setup let me know, I have a Sony lens onhand that you could try out with the other snap fit adapter.
Goodluck!

Goodluck! the kit I got was from ebay i looked at the videos of the dr bobs kit it looks the same imo this is the kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pulsar-N550-N750...d#ht_401wt_1362The threads that had to be trimmed where on the scope I had to taper them in the front a bit because it was such a tight fit just to get it started.

Cyberpyrot -
Thanks for the link, that is Daniel Pinto's kit - he makes a very good doubler.
It is different in design than Dr. Bob's which explains the above confusion.
For Dhpintos kit you had to remove the front objective and lens lock ring and affix the doubler directly onto the native lens.
You should be good to go with this doubler, it is more work than all the others but again Daniel's design has been reported by many to be rock solid.
Eagerly awaiting the review!!!

thanks fro the info bud. when I was looking for doublers I searched everywhere there very elusive to find so when I found that one on ebay I jumped on it. later I did find a much easier design but I questioned the durability of it. here is a link to the other kit I found. it uses the lens cover mount to hold it in place wich made me qustion if somthing hit the adapter upward would it snap? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pulsar-N550-Digi...5#ht_813wt_1362

There are about 3-4 doublers on the market for the digisight.
I have been reading as many user reviews as possible for each, here is a quick run-up:
Dr. Bobs - marketed by UK company Scott Country, early designs didn't have the 4 grub screws so bumping the gun in transit caused shift in POI. Currently the latest version is a good option for those who don't want to take off the front bell housing.
Dpintos - marketed on Ebay and a few UK forums, because it locks to the native lens it gives the true'ist alignment possible but fitting work may be necessary.
The Gadsden - 50/50 reporting on it maintaining zero, it uses the flip cover hinge to stabilize and deter movement. It is most like the Dr Bobs and is the only made in the US option.
Mystery Design - what's yet to come and others you will find as you search the I-net for options, buyer beware on all of these...

well hopefully the one I have will work well for me I hope there is zero POI shift but if there is I will just leave it on rather then constantly resighting.

I'm very interested in this thread after reading through it. Does the doubler basically increase magnification? I would think that would be it's purpose.
Does it really decrease the ability to see through the scope without additional IR light? Waiting to hear the review on this as I may explore a doubler as an option. Are the extra lenses sold separately from the mounting bracket, or does it all come together as a kit?

I have the 550. I assume there are doubler kits for this scope as well?

Awesome. You in the Houston, or surrounding, area?
Have you tried the scope at night with the doubler on it yet? Any reviews to share?

I have the Pulsar N750 and I installed the "Gadsden" adapter (purchased off flea bay from colmarlowe) and the Yukon doubler lens (Yukon NVRS 50 mm Doubler for Night Vision Riflescope (YK29091)) this morning, seeing a major POI shift (POI seems to have shifted about a foot in both the X and Y directions at 100 yards). I am going to try loosening/tightening the unit down a couple of times to see if the shift holds or changes, but will most likely re-zero and hope the shift doesn't move about.
The N750 sits on top of an Armalite AR-10 Super S.A.S.S. 7.62 / 308 WIN.
