Some people man. I was raised different. I had some guy call asking to buy a pair of cocobolo calls. He talked the price down and we agreed. He said he would send a check. No check, for a while. We had some Christmas envelopes opened and the cash removed so I assumed his check had been stolen. I sent him a text and he was "ohhhh I forgot I will send it Thursday, I am so sorry" yada mother freakin yada.

I inquired via text over the course of the next month as to what he wanted to do. That POS finally answered and said he just got back into town. BS. An I-phone let's you see when they review the text. Liar! He opened them as soon as I sent them.

So he says it is no longer duck season he is not interested in the calls. I will have to get used to this I guess. I can say after 10 years of dog training no one ever stiffed me on payment. I guess it is the signs of the times. What a proud piece of work that guy is, be it your the first in 10 years to stiff me on payment.

Yup people are dirt bags these days! I'm sure he ran out of money and did not have the stones to say I just do not have it. NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT!!!! A mans word is no longer a bond by contract. Sorry your having to deal with the cr@p.

Did you send the calls to him? If so that's BS. That guy is a real Ahole. Must not be a real duck hunter or he wouldn't have done that to you.

Fortunately I had not sent the calls to him but what it did was take me out of Christmas and duck season. now I have to hold that stock probably Until next duck season.

I guess it is just as well he's no Duckhunter.

That's true I am glad I did not send the calls prior to payment. I don't know why I did not because normally I would just send it . but something told me not to in this case.

Have a policy where you get paid in full and and 2 weeks (or whatever) later you will deliver the call. It gives you time to buy the exotic wood and turn the call and ship it. Boat manufacturers do this all the time. They build your boat when you pay for it. Keeps the guy risking his cash flow from getting hosed.

That sucks, but at least you are not out your calls.

post up the calls and surely someone will take them off your hands.. Im always looking for a good call

I bought 2 calls from Wayne, by the way my husband and son love them. I was surprised he put them in the mail before my check reached him.
Glad everything worked out, and you didn't get burned by that guy.
