Looking to buy an ice chest where I can keep the skin and head cold that allows the antlers of a buck to stick out the top of the cooler. Haven't needed one in a while, but I am always optimistic when I go hunting and I think I will need one for next season. Anyone have any ideas on who makes these?

I have a trophy cooler as well. It is a very neat product and does the job.

I have 4 of the trophy coolers and they are outstanding. Los Cazadores in Pearsall sells them or you can order online/

Learn to skin the head correctly. Will make life much better. You can store the cape in freezer longer etc

Any good taxi, will teach you. Or I could show you.

But in mean time, buccee's sales the soft side head coolers

I agree with BOBO....caping the head properly is an important skill, ESPECIALLY if you are going to be in the mountains or desert chasing elk, moose, sheep, or mule deer. I have had customers dang near cry when I slid the hair off an elk cape that had been in the bed of a pickup for 16 hrs in 80 degree heat.
