Have a goody buddy that's started guiding this year that was talking about how many teal he had at one of his spots. I took a group out there last weekend and was amazed at the numbers. So, for this last weekend we decided to stack up as many guns as we could and commit some mass murder. 17 man limit of straight GWT, had a shot at some big ducks but didn't wanna taint the strap! Heard about it before it happened...
Rumor was there was 5000 GWT sitting on a flat
put 17 layouts side by side
Congrat's to them for pulling it off!
I like how they shot Straight GWT and passed on Big ducks!
Really kinda a neat story!
Definitely a way to wrap up season!

That is pretty much all we shot the last 9 days of season, they were very thick, could have killed several limits every day, glad they showed up.

J.J. It sure was! Thanks again for subleasing it to us JJ, we appreciate it! You sure about that? How did you go about subleasing Public land? Really curious as this sounds like a great opportunity for next year. Would really like to be able to lease rights to some public land I hunt and not worry about topwaters ruining my hunt.
