Just realized I never put any pics from last deployment on this thread. Here are some of my favorites.

Never good when you go over a wall and all you see is the sky

Spent a lot of nights huddled around this fire talking about the days events with buddies.

Sometime you gotta take a selfie while the Taliban are ambushing Afghan Army and the tanker trucks they are escorting.

Found a big IED down in this swampy area tunneled under the road.

After we got the explosives out of the tunnel we blew the explosives up it was about 200lbs worth and this is what the area above in the previous picture looked like after we blew it.

That one was in Wardak by the Tangi Valley.

Small world man, I was at Cop Dash Towp last year. I hated going into that Shakabad greenzone, seemed like every time we went there we got shot at or there was an IED or some other fun present from the locals... When where you over there?
