Has anyone converted their boss bock protein feeder to a spin type. Specifically the 350# model. I have so many extra feeder parts, i.e. boxes, motors, timers, etc, that I was hoping to just make a kit myself.
Just brainstorming here, but I was think to use pvc to bottle neck the opening down to a funnel and then make a bracket for all the equipment to attach to. Any ideas, tips, or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
I have seen the boss buck kits for +/- $100, but hoping to get away without spending that much.

I have converted mine but with the boss buck equipment. I will say the work is super easy with boss buck, and takes only a few minutes, most of that is setting up the electronics. The biggest issue with a DIY job would be finding a way to connect it all together on the down spout tube. If you can get that part figured out (and I don't think it would be hard, I just have never thought about it ) you will hopefully save yourself some money. Good luck!
