Well I'm embarrassed to say that all the drone jokes got me interested. Geeked out on my way home from work and blew some Christmas money on an AR Parrot Drone. Curious to try it out to do some aerial scouting... Stay tuned.

The drone guy thinks they make for good conversation and actually are a lot of fun. Best scouting tool around.

The drone guy thinks they make for good conversation and actually are a lot of fun. Best scouting tool around. Drone jokes were all in good fun. Sorry they have been at your expense. No hard feelings?

Would be interesting to say the least. What is the range on this model you bought Redsnake?? Range is crap. Only like 50-60 yds. I hear you can boost the wifi and get it to go over 300 yds. It's pretty cool though that you control it from the screen on your phone as it streams video -- you can see from the drones point of view as you fly it.

Range depends on how much money you want to spend on one, my neighbor will be through with another one in a few days that if does what it supposed to will go more than a mile.
