Nice! I've shot 6 over the last 30 days in Whiteright (Grayson Co) and two of them were to big to drag off like you were stating earlier. Where did you shoot this one?

I have watched several grow on my places from shoats to mature boars. About 200lbs at 2-3 years, 300 at 3-4 years and 400lbs from 4-5 and most max out around 400 to 500lbs in North Texas (of course most of weights I mentioned are for the later age). This is where they have plenty of "good" native browse.

I do a lot of hog removal with dogs, traps, and guns. You won't believe how many farmers tell me they have a 500 pounder running around. It's just because they get excited and it sounds good. Go to texas boars and look at there pigs they post and idiotic weights. The site owner is the worst about it. If a boar is 400 pounds you don't have to stand 10 feet away to make it look big.
