Gah!!! I went hunting six times and no dead deer to show for it. I have shot at least one deer every year since 2004 so this is a shock. No meat in my freezer. No horns. No luck. How many days away is next season? Let me see, one...two...three...

I hunted every weekend, except one, and didn't kill a deer.

Come to think of it, I haven't killed one since the monster in 2010.

Did you not see any does or anything? They taste good too.

Deer seem to know when your there I work from home, so this year we hunted 9 weeks and 6 days.. That is since bow season started.

Stop sleeping in your stand and stay awake lol Hopefully a big un comes out for ya next year.

Only hunted 6 times? are you day leasing, have a season lease, invites from friends? etc...

I only hunted about that much and I got 3.

I took one doe on the afternoon of Opening Day less than 30 minutes after climbing into a new stand site for the first time. But after that, I did not see any bucks greater than two spikes all season long.

For some reason, I just could not get into the swing of it this season. Hunted a lot but just didn't feel I had that many "good" hunts.

I only shot one and hunted probably 150-200 hours. Watched some doe and a big spike a few times. I did get my buck though.

Don't feel so bad!!! I didn't get anything either but now that season is over, I have pictures of some good ones that survived this year!!! Next year looks promising!!!

I hunt in Hardin County!!! I was unable to get back in to my area on lease early in the season due to 8 inches of rain flooded out my part of lease and I couldn't get in!!! The bucks went nocturnal when I was able to go back to hunting on my break on Dec 20th!!! Saw plenty of does but illegal after Dec 1st!!!

I hunted only 6 or seven morning this year. Didn't kill or see one deer. I'm not in a crazy good area, but I've always seen something in years past. Had to resort to taking a pig and a few coyotes...

I haven't shot a deer in over 5 years. I've got some catching up to do I guess.

Not the amount of game harvested.. For me its the memories made with my kiddos.. Would rather "guide" them and the wife than shoot my self.

That's what it's all about for me too but my kids are grown and now it's the grans.

I hunted four times in Burnet county close to Marble Falls and twice in Eastland just north of Ranger. Just to clear my name, I would have shot a doe if I saw one and no, I don't fall asleep in my stand...much.

i am a little confused. do you guys that go for the trophies only not like the meat or are your freezers already so stocked up you can't fit anymore?
