About 5 years ago we were set up on a 50 acre private lake on waters edge against some willows. I told everyone to wait until I said we were legal. Next thing I hear is my BIL let off 3 shots. I yell at him telling him we still had 15 mins till legal. He says "I not shooting at ducks arsehole, I just got attacked by a raccoon."
A coon evidently didn't want him under his willow tree and got after him pretty good. Oh, and he missed the coon all three shots.

Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

We hunted in Wise county today and ducks started coming in at 6:30, I mean morning rush at 6:30. Early as I have ever seen. We had Teal landing on dry ground. We tried to keep them up but 15 min is about as much as they can stand before they give up and go somewhere else. They have gone nocturnal for sure. At 7:30 all the ducks I saw were standing on shore facing the wind and resting. Maybe they were migrators looking for a place to rest, but they all came from south and I glassed them there yesterday afternoon. We are far enough away from full moon that this shouldn't be happening. My guess is all the pressure on them and with some light at night has got em feeding at night while its safe and loafing and resting in the day. If they had started coming in 32 minutes later it would have been a banner shoot. Lots of the sacred and most coveted ducks on the THF in those strings

Happens almost everytime especially with the teal? Anyway we will smoke em lst, my buddys will grab the birds and ill sling the deeks out real fast. Before we started doing this they'd pile in, chill for a few and leave 15 minutes before go time.
Thanks for all the positive THF support. Y'all are awesome.
