Just curious to see how far everyone drives to get to their lease and how often you make it.

through out my life its been as little at 1.5 and as many as 5. Depending on situations at home. at a minimum 7 trips during deer season more for dove turkey duck and more for feeding and prep. 20 weekends there through out the year.

My wife and I have a lease just outside Coleman. It's 3 1/2 hours for us. We go every weekend during hunting season. Once a month in the off season.

Right at three miles from my house. Go almost everyday during deer season, bow included. I am blessed to be so close to home.

Just under 4 hrs. In the past, I probably made it ~12 weekends a year. Now, I've got two little kids and only make it out there 7 or 8 weekends a year.

That's the way to do it. I hunt as much as I can too. Almost every day during WT season, except for the days on the road to visit family or friends. We older fellers have earned that right. Right Ranchman?

Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.
Don't text and drive.

My current lease is a little less than 2 hours, driveway to camp. Sure is nice not driving a long distance, hope we get to keep the lease a few more years (it's for sale). Wouldn't buy it if I had the money:).

166 miles from Lewisville to Cross Plains. Average 2.5 hours. Usually around 6-8 weekend trips during deer season and all week Thanksgiving week and a 4-5 day Christmas trip. About every 6 weeks in the off season including 3-4 Spring Turkey weekends.

I'm not rushing it, but must be nice. Just hope I'm able to get out of the metro mess, at a young enough age to enjoy it. I'm sure y'all deserve EVERY minute of it.

A little over 2 hrs. to Evant and hunt every other weekend during regular season. three or four times during turkey season. Once a month the rest of the yr. to varmint hunt or hog hunt. At least 4 times to dove hunt. I hunt 10 miles east of my house 2 or 3 days a week during regular season.

Its 125 miles from my driveway to camp and I make it in less than 2 hours. I schedule a hunting vacation for the first week of the deer season and hunt about every weekend after that including bow season.
