Mailed in I presume?
I have heard Eform subbmitted apps (trust/corps only)are coming back in 3-4 months with paper submitted are taking a year or more.
My brother and I submitted Eforms for 6 cans in Nov, see what happens.. I just try to forget about it

My check cashed on June 18, on a form 4 can with a trust, I'll race ya!
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

E-file wasn't available in June.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

E-forms that were sent in in Sept got back in 3-4 months because they had to test the system. They fast tracked the E-forms at first but now they are not, it is still supposed to shave a few months off the wait.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

That's what I had heard from the SilencerShop People were saying they were coming back in 3 months.. Best just to forget about it and be pleasantly suprised

I waited 16 months for my SBR tax stamp. Just got it about a month ago. Dayam! I've never waited longer than 7. Did you have any errors on your paperwork or anything? Did you do trust or LEO sign off?

10-12 months on average. This is based soley on the ATF NFA Branch dragging their feet. Probably at a back door request by Obama and Holder to gum up the works. Also, the NFA examiner position is at the bottom of the barrel for ATF jobs so you basically have a bunch of mopes processing your paperwork.

So here's an update...
Did a Form 4 for a customer (eFORM) back on 10/23/13...just got the stamp back on 1/15/14. If you are buying an NFA item have your dealer do the eFORM instead of sending in a paper copy! MUCH FASTER!!!!

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

You guys think its even worth it to put in for a tax stamp using a trust at this point considering the wait times and possible changes?

Go put your info in on www.nfatracker.com. It's all user input based and helps people get an idea of when to expect their mailed forms back. Right now, they are on checks cashed in late March according to that website. So expect around 3 more months for the OP's form. And yes, eForms now take about 100 days.

That is awesome news about the EForms!! I have four stamps pending right now, all electronically. My last mailed in stamp (Form 1 SBR) was mailed on Feb 13 and got it back Dec 13, so exactly 10 months.
