Well I finally decided to play around with some more brass.. This was a solid piece drilled and turned down for my barrel and then wrapped a little cocobolo around it.. I could not decide on the insert and I didnt want to make another brass insert so I made a solid Water Buffalo antler insert.. I have made quite a few inserts like this and man does it scream..

It is pretty dense.. I would compare it to ABW as far as sound.

Do you set your tone boards yourself?, or do you have the CNC machine do it?
From the looks of picture, it looks hand set. Great job!

Thanks Guys!!
Muddy I Turn all my inserts & Barrels one at a time & hand cut all my own Toneboards, no CNC and no duplicater.. IMHO that is the true meaning of a custom call.

Robert A. Agreed. No shoving in an Echo insert and calling yourself a call maker!
