Anybody getting a new bow for next season? Thinking this is the year i will finally go all out on a new one. Looking at the new Bowtechs but still haven't 100% decided. Shooting a Bowtech captain right now and love it, but i need a little bit shorter ata bow for shooting while sitting.

I had some work done to mine last year, but I have really been wanting a new one the last couple years. But every-time I go to shoot one I can never decided if I like it or not and just keep the one I have.
Maybe this is the year.

Have made up my mind to spring for a new bow this year. It will be a 52 year old model though. Bear Kodiak Magnum 50lb.

Not me. I'm usually not one to hold on to bows for a long time, but after many years of wanting a Mathews, I finally bought a used Z7 at the end of last season. I used it this year and really like it. A new string and maybe a new sight is as far as I plan to go for next year.

Elite Energy 32 is quite possibly the best bow this year. I can't believe how smooth and solid it is, the valley is crazy.

The pictures i have seen of them don't really look like anything special. Who sells them in DFW? I am really leaning toward the Bowtech Invasion or a Mathews.

Cinnamon Creek is the DFW Elite Dealer. With that said, if you looking for a bow that looks cool, Elite ain't for you. They are worth a try out though, it's all about how the bow draws and shoots. Considering Mathews top two professional shooters jumped ship to shoot Elites this year should speak volumes. I am an old Mathews guy, but they need to start spending some money on Engineering, instead of changing one spec on last years bow, calling it extreme and riding on their name. Bowtech on the other hand has surprised me there new bows for this year looks promising, although I am not a short brace height guy the 360 FPS RPM360 bow looks like something I would want to try out purely as a hunting bow. Nice thing about the Elite Energy 32 is I would shoot it as a hunting bow and would have no qualms about running it in 3D comp too. Try em all out, I wouldn't get the Invasion though unless it was a very very cut rate deal, it is a 4 year old bow and they were just figuring out their CPX design with it.

Yep probably the Obsession Evolution. Hunted with the Knightmare this last year and loved it. Very smooth and fast bows. Obsession to me is the best out. Just a little shy of elites smoothness but with a lot better speed. I will try bowtechs rpm360 but the 31"ata is a little shorter than I like with my 30" dl

It really wasn't powerful enough for deer hunting, so I started using it on small game. Now it is my bow fishing rig. ![](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm308/coltwknight/62_545509727100_8213_n_zpsf0709fcd.jpg) ![](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm308/coltwknight/IMG959527.jpg)

The one I am looking at is a 2012 model that they got in late in the year. And yes it is marked down a lot. I really liked it the best of all i have shot so far and have read nothing but great reviews on it.

Some will peel and bubble really bad after being shot some. They didn't fix that till 2013, any of the 2012 is a coin toss.

I have a HeliM right now and wished I'd kept my DXT. The HeliM is great but the DXT just fit me better. That being said I may make the switch to Elite. Dam their bows are smooth.

I don't see me buying a new bow this season. I'm still really happy with my 09 model Elite GT-500
If I do find myself with a pocket full of cash, I would probably go with the Energy 35. It is pretty similar to the size of my current bow, just a little smoother, and a little faster.
