well i have to say i was not impressed. its heavier and has a longer axel to axel length than the DXT. i shot it and it was real smooth. then i noticed it had limb savers, a string stop and a stabilizer on it. the guy was real honest and he said they had to put that on there to make it even shootable. the DXT needs none of this.

i asked him how fast it was shooting and he said 265 fps at 62lbs/29". my old SB does that . looks like they took a step backwards. i wont be getting one and i sure hope the monster is alot better. it wont be available till february.

hey txbowhunter, i shot a reezen 2 days ago, it chronographed 338 for me at a 70# 27.5, smooth as hell and i like it better than a dxt.. the weight for me is good, i like a little heavier bow.

was it ready to hunt? meaning did it have a sight, string loop, peep, etc on it? or was it a bare bow?

the one i tried out was a demo, so it had peep, single pin sight and string loop. all they did was change the cam for draw length

Your slowly but surely making your way to the dark side....it's ok DooWayne...let go of your fear of the dark side...it's all good bubba

Mine is shooting 324 with a 29" arrow set on 64lbs. I chronoed it just to see. I am not really overly concerned with speed as much as I am with how well I shoot the bow, but was curious anyhow

Yeh X force, I was shooting it at the baker ranch when we were there. I bought it the end of last year.

Mines not a dream season. One of my buddies shot one and he told me that he loved it, said he was considering selling his Gaurdian and getting one. I'm afraid to shoot anythng for at least a year or so cause I might like it.

I got this off another forum from someone doing a test on the new Reezen today.......

-----------------------------------------------------------

here are my results:

all bows set at 29" AMO @ 70lbs, loop and peep and 350gr arrow - bare shaft.

Mathews Reezen 6.5
318, 317, 316fps
lots of string vibe that created a shock feel. put a duravane stringtamer facing up and helped some but gave the bow a bad left kick feel upon shot. turned it upside down and made it a litttle better and no left kick. the speed balls are huge on this bow. i guarantee you that is where the majority of the buzz feel came from. but it was very quiet upon shot. Draw is super harsh....felt like pulling 80. No way will it do its advertised speed..335 Maybe.

Some food for thought anyways.
