Hey folks I spent several hours yesterday taking a few shots and trying to stay warm. That was hard to do yesterday in a blind! I got a few decent shots of a great drop tine buck and a few of his buddies. One buck appeared to have some scarring from what I'm guessing was a run in with a lion. Oh yea and Miley's brother Marvin dropped by for a minute!! Later guys, Baker

Nice pics. The scarring on the bucks back is more likely from going under a barbed wire fence IMHO

I was thinking the same thing, eye color just looks off. That buck looks like he's managing just fine though!

That wouldn't explain the scarring on his neck near his jaw.

That scarring is more than likely from fighting another buck. You ever see them fighting and get there head bent backwards and tines raking against there back? I would bet on that scenario.
