A fella that was a vet who had one that was half yote. Don't know how he got it but that dang dog was a trip. While baling hay that thing would run between the baler and the tractor while you were baling. It would also hop up on the trailer and get on top of the round bales stacked double high on the trailer and ride there out to the feed location. It seemed pretty friendly but would only allow his owner to pet it. It would come in close but nobody else could pet it. On a side note, I've broke 5 front end axles in coyote dens while cutting or baling hay. Hate them dang things too.

The one on the left, it looks wolfish in color. Interesting variation from the others.

Nice going! Brings back memories of when I trapped for the state as one of the government trappers.

In Texas, having a live coyote in your possession is prohibited since they are under statewide quarantine for rabies.

Live *COYOTES are currently under a statewide rabies quarantine that prohibits them from
being transported or sold in Texas. For information on the rabies quarantine, visit: www.dshs.state.tx.us/idcu/health/zoonosis/default.asp
