Here a few months back there was a thread about pelican cases and someone mentioned CHEAP [cost] Pelican cases. Does anyone know where I can go and not spend $200 on a pelican?

Never seen a pelican case cheap that was new anyway.

Woot has some decent deals on Boyt cases right now. No, they're not Pelican, but they're half the price, and comparable.

Could've bought a 1750 in FDE for $150 new, but that was about the cheapest I saw.

Tolby at Bandera Gun Club 830-796-4610, found some good cheap synthetic cases on the web for just over $100. I have a Pelican and a Hardigg Storm Case iM3300. The Pelican isn't in the same bldg. I think Hardigg may be one of their lines.

any dealer selling these for less than 200.00 is losing money...why would they want to do that?

Not really. Some people are able to keep the overhead costs down there fore dont need as wide of a profit margin therefore able to sell cheaper than a bigger retail store.

Midway has Pelican 1750s on sale for $189. A little Google searching will usually land you a coupon code to further cut the cost or eliminate shipping charges.
