I bought 15 bags of Mummes brand corn. That stuff is full of fines and keeps plugging up my feeder funnel.

I'm glad I only have 4 more bags of that crap to go through.

I have found the exact opposite, oddly enough. My Academy corn I buy up here in North Texas is dirty. I buy the Mummes from HEB when I go to South Texas, and it has always been very clean.

I have fed Mummes Corn for the last 17 years now. It has always been the cleanest corn you can buy. Corn has never had "fines". Fines are only found in deer or pelletized feeds. Post some pics of it so we can see what you are calling "fines".

I have had the same funnel in my feeder for 3 seasons and this year it has plugged up way more it seems.
I never plugged on me at all last year.

I don't have as much "time in grade" as STX but my experience with Mumme's has been fantastic! Rather fight than switch!

Sounds like you have some old corn that bugs have gotten to and turned it to powder in your feeder. Hull material, as in cobs or stalks or bees wings?

Wow. I agree with STX. I buy nothing but the Mummies as it has been spot on perfect for us since 2006. Never a problem. Maybe you got unlucky and caught a bad load........

Mummies is best available corn I have ever bought and by far the cleanest.

If there is white powder it sounds like weevels are in it. Probably after putting it in your feeder.

You apparently got some that wasn't screened. Most Mummes Corn is very clean and even cheaper at the store in Hondo. I got a rock in some corn that plugged my feeder, its just one of the things that happens.

Mummes is the best corn I have used as far as being clean. I bet you have some other type of issue going on. If it is the corn I bet it is a rare case.

HEB is terrible on many levels.

Stay away from the bags from HEB...they sit to long in front of the store. Mums is the best but gotta get it from the stores not the.secondary dealers.

Never had a gripe with Mummys corn or HEB.

Hahaha my cousin delivers for them he says sometimes the corn at HEB is about 2-3 months old and been sitting inside and outside of the warehousea/stores.

All Mummes Corn will have a date it was bagged on the bag. I bought some just the other day at HEB in a small town that was bagged 5 days before I bought it. HEB is not going to warehouse and store something on their dime for that length of time.

I have always bought mummes corn at HEB and have never had any issues. It has always been clean.

Wildgame, Anderson Farms, Atwoods, Wildlife Feed some of the corn i've bought no problems.

fed nothing but mummes corn for the same amount of time(our 17th year) and never had a feeder clog. not once

I'll preface this by saying that I have been extremely spoiled by United/ Market-street.

1. Poor Customer Service: Employees walk by like you don't even exist and expect you to get out of their way. I thought we were in Texas? No cheery "hello", "how are you?", "can I help you find something?".

2. Dirty Stores: Have seen multiple roaches running underneath the seafood counter. I'm pretty sure the stockers are brainwashed into believing that every box is a Christmas present and that they are 5 years old. They rip open the boxes and tear the packages, which leads to crap everywhere.

3. Poor Management: Who is still stocking their shelves as 8am? Walked in one morning and could barely get down the isles b/c they still had hours of stocking left to do.

I could keep going but I would be here all day. Also, I have mainly been to the stores around New Braunfels and San Antonio but have never really been impressed with any HEB. And lets not even get into that Walmart rip off HEB Plus.
