This cooler weather hopefully will pull them out of the thick cover. We have had acorns the size of golf balls under all the oak tree's this year which made things start off alittle slow. Cody came up on two big bucks fighting the other morning as he was checking fence lines.

Thanks Don, I have stepped down and let Cody run with it. He has been pretty busy but the hunting has been slow for us do to the acorns and how green the pasture is.

We had a great time hunting with Cody yesterday! We were on the blinds early but the whitetail did not cooperate, so Cody decided we'd go spot and stock the red stag cows. We jumped them about 4 times before they finally presented us each a shot. What a fun hunt, thanks again Cody! This young man really understand the animals and he knows the ranch like the back of his hand!
