The wife wanted a night time hog/predator light. I looked around at the combos that were available, but chose to piece my own together. I didn't like the way most lights were mounted to the scope tube. I came up with a Picatinny toped scope ring by Burris for the riflescope, then a quick detach scope mount that would stay on the light. She can now hunt until dark and then take her light out for the hogs. Went with an ARMYTEK green predator light. The light output is amazing. The attached scope picture is of a tree in the scope at about 100 YDS. She loved her Christmas present and can't wait to use it!

I like it. I want for my .22-250. My buddy had a green light mounted on his AR last time we went hunting and I was really impressed with what you could see with it...

That's pretty cool. I'm gonna have to look into that.

That looks really nice! I have a similar setup on my CZ 308 and it works very well. One word of advice. If the cam-lever on the QR mount has the little hex-screw to tighten it (mine does) keep a few of the little hex-wrenches handy! It loosens up with use and makes the light rattle. I have to tighten mine whenever I put it on. It's not a permanent fixture so I don't want to go to lok-tite. I keep hex wrenches in the ashtray of all my vehicles and every coat pocket! I'm sure your wife is very happy with it. Merry Christmas!

I got The Big Pig light on my R25, and it's awesome. She will like it, nice rifle too!
