A buddy asked me if I wanted to go on a guided goose hunt after new years. I have never been goose hunting so I said sure. I have been dove hunting and that is the extent of my bird hunting experience (more of a deer hunter). We are hunting in the panhandle north of Amarillo. Looking for any advise from the veteran goose hunters?
Anyone have any recipes for goose?

not a veteran goose hunter, but listen to what your guide says, and don't forget to tip

I would ask your outfitter what to bring for load and choke. They will know more than anyone else what the conditions are going to be and what works best for your hunt.
