I have been noticing that the deer at the lease have not been showing up like they have at the first of the season. In fact they are gone. Would any of you have thought about their pattern?

Mine are the opposite, I have seen more deer now than early. Pressure of going to the same stand everyday can put enough pressure on some deer to move them in some areas. Food sources have changed also in some areas. For me, I have had not had any good rain in over 2 months so they are chasing feed right now.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

See ALOT more than the beginning of season. I'm seeing bucks for the first time in person instead of on camera
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

Same as it has been for us other than now we are able to pattern the bigger bucks easier. First of the season all they did was hit the feeders at night. Now they are there before the feeders go off and hang out for a while.

Ours are moving more and chasing feed. Pressure has pushed them out of their normal patterns and away from stands, so you have to go looking for them.

Seeing plenty of deer just not the ones I want to see. Have not seen any mature bucks all season. Still on cams mainly at last light or night. It has been a strange year

All the mature bucks in my area have figured out my hunting patterns or have been killed by neighboring hunters. Its been a very frustrating season for me so far.

Think it really depends on where your hunting at. Since the rain and farmers got wheat and oats planted only a few come to feeders at night, rest of the time there in the fields. Hunted feeder this morning and didn't see anything. Bout 930 I took to the brush and deer where moving. Got behind a brush pile and 10 minutes later 3 does and a buck come my way. 6 1/2 old buck that would be an 11 pointer but 2 tines broke off decided he wanted to be in my freezer. If you are able to walk around, do it, pays off every year for me.

I saw 11 doe yesterday morning, a new record for us. Bucks have vanished however.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
