The other guy being pissed is his problem. Not yours. Landowner made her decision. Enjoy the time with your family hunting and being outdoors. Buisness is Buisness jump on it, be the Straw Boss and don't look back...says alot that she trusts you..Take care of her and let her know you appreciate the gesture..Good Luck!!

I've got to agree with everyone else, it's not your fault that the landowner only wants you there. Enjoy the hunting and time with your family

Enjoy the hunting and time with your family I agree also, but it's not your job to have anything to do with the other hunter since both leases were seperate when first leased. I'd stay out of the business deal between the landowner and the other guy. It's her job to deal with the guy and you alone should only have to deal with the landowner.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Enjoy it, respect it like you own it and maybe one day, you just might! Yes sir.. We have made tons of improvements to the property.. Our land owner is probably the best one out there.. Can not imagine to many guys receive a package in the mail from your land owner with Christmas presents in the package for your kids..

Hey man you win, you were respectful and the rancher is the boss. It sucks for him but you did nothing wrong. All you did was please the land owner and she rewarded you with her trust. Great job and enjoy the new part of your lease

My landowner leases on a 1 year contract agreement. I am the lease manager and if I have hunters who are not what we want hunting with us we simply let the contract expire and let the guys know that we will not be signing a new contract with them. I did have a hunter in the past that really got on our nerves. He kept bringing guests to the lease without L O permission and other things that was upsetting the L O. I informed him that his contract expired and give him 30 days to remove his equipment. His reaction was I will file a lawsuit for money that I have put into the lease. What a knuckle head that he could not follow very simple and relaxed rules to respect the property and the L O. I am thankful that my L O is awesome and trusts me and my son.

As far as i no there has never been any issues with other hunter. This is his first year on the place. Only issue i no of is land owner said she does not like his attitude with her when she speaks to him. I did not want the entire place i do enjoy being around other ethical hunters and swapping stories and trail cam pics. But i am able to lease it all and i am going to. Just means i can move my wife's stand closer to camp which she will love. And the kids can fish in a pond that is on the other section Edit: maybe tis their way of saying. Thanks for your service
