Tyson goes by SteadyPoint on this forum. I also purchased a female setter pup from him that may be the best young dog that I have ever had my hands on. Who is the sire and dam of this nice female?

Tyson has some very nice dogs. Who is the sire and dam of your dog?

My dog is out of Kosmo and DD, who was a daughter of Grouse Ridge Reroy.

Here is my male setter. I am planning to breed these two this spring after the season is over.

Thanks Chet. I was a pointer guy for years and then by de facto I inherited a couple of setters from my Father. Not these two but of the same lineage. These setters are tough, aggressive, type A, pointer like dogs. Nothing is too hard for them. The male just turned 4 and the female will be 3 in March. And I have got to tell you that they are bird finding machines. (And I am talking wild birds) banana

Nothing prettier than a setter strutting his stuff thru the field, except one that is locked up tight on point and flying that gorgeous tail.

Ducked up, we talked a bit last year about your dog. Glad to see she is coming along! She is beautiful! I really like the skyhawk bloodlines. I have had jetsetter bloodlines as well as tekoa mountain patriot bloodlines, and I really prefer the skyhawk bred dogs.

Here are a few pics of my skyhawk bred dog. He is my best ever already at 3-1/2.

I also have a 4 month old pup out of him and a smith bred female that is already showing some nice confidence and drive. Just wish I had the wild birds to make him into a true bird dog. Only so much pen raised birds can do. Below is a picture of the sire an dam on a covey, as well as a pic of the new guy.

Texas Shag, good to hear from you and thanks for the kind words! You have some very beautiful dogs yourself and I really like that pup! I wish I could get my dog on more wild birds than I've been able to, but I'll take what I can get. What is it about the Hytest breeding that you guys like?

Really good looking dogs, that puppy is something else.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Dang that puppy is cute.
