Good stuff,
But really just depends on what your usuage will be.
Hunting in a stand, its a waste of money to invest in the system.

The aegis is good cold weather gear.
The other part of the line is layering softshell type peices (base layer, second layer/softshell, third layer/rain gear)

I do lots of man made ground blinds and crawling through the brush, just wanted to make sure it would stand up to the wear and tear since they are proud of it.

My question is if it will be warm enough for you. Its an active type gear(excluding aegis line). Its a soft shell (think northface, columbia) material, so wit will hold up but isn't the warnest gear for still hunting

Ok, so I'll still need to layer pretty good under the pants. I saw something saying they fit pretty snug in the legs have you heard the same.

But I have friends that use the krptek line, its very similar to kuiu, there for its more of an athletic cut

Like many have said, it is athletic cut for high country hunting. Just like Sitka and Kuiu. If you are looking for stand hunting or blind hunting, there is much better out there. If you are still hunting or high country hunting, it is great stuff. Predator also makes a great whitetail system.

Kryptek is BAD A$$ stuff. We work with Kryptek through our 501c and they are great guys with an awesome camo pattern. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of two guys I was hunting elk with that had the highlander on in Colorado laying on a rock spotting. Could hardly see them and they were only about 20 yrds from me. They blended in great. It's a little expensive, but well worth it. Hunting in a blind, any camo is worthless. I wear bluejeans most of the time. Tree stand or in the open is when good camo comes in handy and Kryptek is one of the best out there! Here is one of them closer up... can't find the farther one. [img:left] [/img]

I just got the cadog jacket in highlander. It is def an athletic type cut which I really like. It seems very thin when you first get it but it is surprisingly warm. Put some good base layers on under it and i think it would be good for any type of weather we get in west Texas. It does a great job of blocking the wind and has a cuff on the inside that will keep your gloves from slipping out of the sleeve. Really impressed with this jacket and love the pattern.
