I've got a large yard here at the south end of Dyess AFB...home of the B1. Those B1's do love to take off with the afterburners blazing when they come over at about 2,000 feet...really rattles the windows here in the office. I've been thinking about building flight pens and raising quail and pheasant out here. Ya'll think they will get used to the planes or the planes will wreck their little bird brains?

Top Flight hunting preserve is at the end of the runway of an airport, but that's small planes. Start with a few and let us know.

i used to hunt near el toro marine base which is an air field
good quail populations

I think there are a lot of us trying to train dogs that are interested in raising quail. I would be interested.

I bought the outfit. Incubators, hatchers, flight pens, brooders, and 300 adult breeders...here goes nothing.
