I just got a Springfield XDs .45acp, I love the gun so far and the gun is a great size but does anyone know of a better alternate than the xds extended clip (7rounds) to extend the grip to get ahold of it better. The extended clip is a little loose, is there anything that fits nice and tight?

Try a Pearce grip extention for your 5-round mag. It takes about 30 seconds to change out the floorplate and costs around $8. They look nice too. Tons of pics to look at on google images so you can see what I'm talking about.

Is the pearce grip durable? or does it bend or give at all?

Nope. Its a rigid, sturdy polymer. I have them on all of my subcompact mags. Best addition to any small handgun you can buy.
