Over at my parents house and looking through a few random photo albums and found a few duck hunting pics...I took pictures of the photos with my phone. I've been real bad about not posting pics so here is my annual contribution.

Back when I was a kid my dad would take me duck hunting from time to time. We rarely took pictures and honestly I was not into it back then...more or less just enjoyed being out there with my dad because I knew he really liked it. So I had no clue about what ducks were what, how to hunt, etc. I just got were my dad told me, shot when he said, and pretty much just listen to him tell me what to do.

If the date is right on this one I was 20 years old in this shot...pretty sure I was at home on xmas break from Tech:



I was about 25 in this one. Does not look like a very good hunt haha but back then I did not know a blue bill from a blue wing:


This was around 2003...when I started to actually care more about duck and goose hunting. I was sent on a 200 yard blind retrieve for that lesser...my dad was proud. We did not have a dog so I was it.


This was from around the same time...me and my dad on a guided hunt with some people from Louisiana. No clue who they are. I was shooting 2 3/4 inch shells on this goose hunt because that's all my shotgun would shoot.




This was this Sunday...All mallards and woodies. Four of us...we shot 3 limits worth but could have easily filled it with ring necks and blue bills but we passed on all of the divers. We could have done better by not shooting as many hens but that's what came in...they eat just the same:

Obviously they were cross trainers...you can run, workout, play basketball, or hunt in them. The stuff I was wearing in these pics cracked me up.
