FIL and I had a great hunt in Donley county this weekend. He shot a 7pt bucl (no pic), I shot a doe (no pic), and I shot a turkey (need to get the pic).
Ya yayaya This thread is worthless without pics. Whatever; I'll see if I can get the turkey photo.

In fact, there was a pond on the property, and the only thing I could think of was Bill Oxner's line - "It is like walking in and out of a beautiful painting all day long."

Congratulations on the hunt.......Were the bucks still chasing up in Donley and Gray counties ? Yes, some of them were. I watched a spike chase a few does the first or second day. On the last day I had a big buck chase two does through a field, but I did not get in place quick enough to get a point count or a shot, and they never circled back.
