Anyone used any of the night lights you mount on corn feeders? Any feedback?

I had a kill light and didn't like it. Did not illuminate a wide enough area for me. I use a Texas Boars light now and couldn't be happier.

I use a kill light. I've shot a few hogs under it. No complaints here.

I have both types. My kill lights work good 75-100 yards when pigs are under the feeder. I have a couple Texas Boars feeder lights and I can easily see pigs 300 yrds under the feeders. It is directional and if I am hunting closer it definitely gives more shot opportunities based on the directionality of the lights and the broad area that is luminated. It is pretty dang expensive though and if you are just wanting to try night hog hunting at 100 yrds or so it is hard to go wrong with the $50 kill light. Just my opinion.
Take your kids hunting and you won't have to go hunting for your kids

Go to walmart, lowes, HD, etc... Buy the $1 dollar solar power landscape lights and zip ties. Fasten to feeder legs and / or t-posts. Your're in it for about 15 bucks and takes 10 minutes to "install".

I have a "Sniper Hog Lights" Exterminator mounted about 25 yards from my feeder. Best light I ever purchased.

I bought a Mr. Beam on Amazon and taped some green plastic film over the light. It is motion sensing so you can leave it out all the time & the animals get used to it. I got the 2 bulb version so I'm out about $40 total.
Just sit in your blind & wait for the light to come on. Then shoot.
I do have hog lights on my rifles but you could get by without them.

I've hunted with the kill light under the feeder. The hogs don't seem to notice or care. Always wanted to try a DIY light, but haven't had the chance yet.

This except I have a kill light mounted to my gun for taking a shot. The Mr Beams is just my early warning system. I can zone out with the ipod in the blind and wait for the light to come on. It is very reliable. I have never seen it give me a false alarm.

How did the hogs react to the light at first ? I set the motion light and went home. I wasn't there when they first saw it, but from the pictures, it didn't take them long, if at all to ignore it and eat the corn.

This....I put up 3 of those solar lights for 10.00/piece and after a while the game just get used to them.I zip tie them to the t-posts that my pens are built to and it's all good.Like poster said above, you could zip tie them to just about anything and your ready to hunt at night.

Check out the new all seasons feeders "Inhawgnito" hog light. It's pretty sweet has red and green LED option and feeder remote all built in. All wireless too.

I have a kill light and have shot hogs under it. Seems to work pretty good.

I made one out of an LED trailer tail light kit, with an 8 foot peice of angle aluminum, and a 25 watt solar panel. Total price was around $125 per light set. They worked great, could see activity at 200 yards plus and have good identification at 150. PM and I can go in further detail of the whole build.
