I think its two guys in a neighbor hood that got a fawn to walk up to them. Cause if this was a reporter that hunted at all, they would not have said that the "brave deer was lucky because the hunters let it pass". It would have said "the hunters were shocked by how fearless the fawn was, but pizzed cause thats all they saw"!
Anti hunter crap to me!!!

I had a full grown doe walk up and sniff the ladder of my 10 foot tripod while I was sitting in it. Took this picture after she took a few steps off with my cell phone at about 5 yards, you can see my knee in the bottom of the picture.
It's hell eatin em live

Fawns are curious little critters. I have backhanded a button buck on the nose in December while wearing a blaze orange vest and blue jeans. I was sitting in a natural ground blind in a chair with the rifle across m la.
Have had mature does eating acorns less than 2 feet from me while hunting sitting on the ground with my back against an oak tree in green coveralls and wearing a blaze orange hat and vest.
Camo helps conceal movement but if you are still enough it is not required for close encounters.
Do not like the slant of the article but can believe the video.

Many years ago I was sitting in some thick brush and hunting the edge of a bean field. Had my back to a tree and the woods behind that. I heard a leaf crunch. Then another leaf crunched slowwwwly. Right behind me. I had mental images of a huge bear with saliva dripping, but I maintained composure. Another leaf crunch. Then I hear a "sniff". A deer was sniffing my right ear. How close her snout was to my ear I can't say, but I got goose bumps in places I never had goose bumps before. Must remain calm...Then she glided slowly past me (a young doe). I could have reached over, and reached UP, and touched her, but I left well enough alone. She went about 20 feet past me, began eating soybeans off the ground and staring at me. I was going to shoot her, but she would not look anywhere but at me. I finally snapped and raised up the old lever action and got off 3 rounds, but every time I shot, the doe was at least 6 feet in the air.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

That's animatronics! I know a good animatronics when I see one... I agree with this. The video is fake. At one point in this video the camera bounces as does the deer. Either an earthquake, or a fake video. I call BS all the way. I have had close encounters with does being within 5 or 6 foot of me, the whole time staring me down and easing on past with eyes and ears on me. IF this isn't a fake video, its a pet deer.

Three hunters were shocked when a deer approached them and began licking a rifle one was firing.
They may hunt but they weren't hunting in the video, they were target shooting.

And they didn't "give it a pass" because it was "so brave".

iv had a 130inch 3yr old walk around the shooting range while we were sighting in rifles... he pretty much learned he was safe there and didn't mind the gun shots at all... saw him about every morning ...

They may hunt but they weren't hunting in the video, they were target shooting. Exactly...the fawn was probably a bottle fed pet as well.

I always fire my rifle when Im trying to be quiet and kill a buck.Man those guys are smart to use that small deer as a decoy while they shoot that rifle over and over again!
 Guns dont kill people.....bullets do.
