Start off simple
mj. Pyrodex RS is a very forgiving powder - accurate and easy to ignite. I do recommend loose powder rather than pellets.
The 240 grain Hornady XTP bullet is usually quite accurate in most inlines like the Pursuit. It's very effective on whitetails and will do the job easily out there at 150 yards.
Start off with three shot groups at 50 yards to see what load your gun likes. Try 80 grains (volume) from a powder measure (plenty of killing power for deer). Then try 90 grains, 100 grains, 110 grains, and maybe even 120 grains. Let the gun tell you what it likes. I suspect you will find the best load in the 85/90/95 grain range.
You can buy prepackaged bullet/sabot combinations such as this one to get started.

Plus, there are other powders to play with - Triple Seven, Blackhorn209, or even real black powder like GOEX.
Have fun, and be sure to
fully clean the gun after each shooting session. The residue from all muzzleloading powders will cause rust if left in the bore. Some are worse than others, but all will do it.
