Was sitting around the house bored and figure I'd share a couple of DIY projects from the last couple of years.

Here's a light fixture we built out of old chicken feeders and a cistern pulley we found out in the pasture.

Same for this tub. Had been using it for a feed trough for the last 40 years.

Used some old wood from a leftover project years ago to build the door.

My first doweling and gluing project. Built these doors and had them measured to trim...wife said that it looked too short...don't tell me my business woman...says I and away I cut. They missed the floor by a good 8 inches. Had to rebuild both of them.

Great work! You are clearly at the "master craftsman" level smile

I'm still at the apprentice level and am doing good if I can get a clean grout line or replace a fence board at the same level as the other pickets.

I don't know about master craftsman, but I have learned that 90% of projects are not nearly as complicated as they seem. There's a how to video on everything under the sun now on YouTube.

Nice use of your imagination, some great ideas using things that are tossed aside. Great match to your decor too!
