No way as an 11pt. I measured an 8pt off same ranch that didn't have a tine over 6" but still made 130. You're discounting beams and mass to much Dang it. I missed one and the related mass. I'll up it to 148.

I say 160 with the mass and beams even with the short tines I still say its around that. Score it and let us know

Wow, I'm having a hard time seeing 160 but again I'm not a professional. On second look, I could see mid-upper 140s but not 160. I don't have the actual numbers, but I have hunted the area for many years. I am guessing there are a few things fooling you and others with this buck. These beams are longer than most will give them credit for, the mass is more than most will think, and the tines have quite a bit of curve to them. I think you and Bobo hit the nail on the head, without that 5, he should be around 155. That frame is almost identical to the frame we measured last year of that 12 that we had figured at 162, then take off the missing 5 and there you go.

I think this buck will make up for the missing 5 with the heavier mass due to the #3 & #4 mass measurements on both sides. I am putting this buck right at 160-162. Probably so, but not having either one in my hands it appears that this year's buck is a bit lighter in mass and point lengths a tad shorter, at least from the 2 buck pics you've shown us.
