This was the result of my first duck hunt...At the time, I thought it was awesome! One of those spoonie hens was my first. When I was taking the picture, one of my buddies told me to never show it to anyone.

I take mine back, my first duck was in 6th grade. I shot it with a slingshot and a marble in one of the ponds by my old house in carrolton. Big ol fat park mallard. Also got grounded when I brought it home.

A mallard drake on the golf course of an unspecified Marine Corps base in southern California. Got him by throwing a 60 degree pitching wedge at him. The middle of the shaft caught him in the middle of the back and they bent around each other. I was able to straighten that club out and still use it sometimes. 1st official duck with a shotgun was after getting out of the Marines when a friend of my grandpas took me. It was a pintail hen. Been hooked since.

Greenwing teal drake when I was 8 years old. Have him in my office now. Little did I know that little guy would cost me so much money! haha he started a disease. I turn 25 on Monday. 17 years of duck hunting and many more to go. Favorite sport by far.

A beautiful hooded merganzer drake. That's really what got me hooked on duck hunting. If I had of shot a more common type of duck, I probably wouldn't have been as excited about my first bird.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.
