I would call Brad Pitcher @ Third Coast or Matt Mauger @ Coastal Prairie for Eagle Lake/Garwood. I have hunted with both this year and limited with each multiple times.
If you want to go a little further south Port Lavaca Will Granberry @ Avian Skies is a good guy also.
I have hunted with each of these guys this year. I have shoot limits with each of these guys. Here are my thoughts:
Coastal Prairie biggest spreads, have the property near the roosts, and brings enough people to make the work before and after the hunt reasonable. You will see the most birds but does not mean the birds are coming to the field you are hunting because you will be near the roosts. Get coming, going and, feeding chances to kill birds.
Third Coast hunts where the birds are and scout, scout, scout. They are the funniest guys and best entertainers. More than likely you will get wet if you hunt with these guys but you will be on the X. You will be where the birds feed. Good chance you will see Pintails.
Avian Skies, best equipment I have seen, hunt where the birds are, suited to small groups and personalized hunts. You will be where the birds feed. You will also get a chance at Black Bellied Whistling Ducks and Pintails.
With any of these guys you will kill Specks they all do great on Specks. White Geese, it is hard to say and is element dependent. If you have wind and motion in the spread you maybe good.
I would look towards the first week after the split to take a client out.
Good luck...

Bay Prairie and ask for David Sohrt. He's a good friend of mine and a hell of a goose hunter.
Another great one would be Bill Sherrill. Not sure where exactly he is out of (Wharton I believe) but he has an outstanding reputation.

for a client hunt I always look at the big picture, from hunting, food to lodging. for me a 2 outfits stick out for that type of trip Bay Prairie Coastal Wings I have hunted with both, and been pleased every time or if you really want to stay in eagle lake there is Coastal Prairie Outdoors, they have lodging also, just not as "nice". You are on your own for food and their lodging is out of town a ways. Coastal wings has a great lodge which is cool if you have a really big group...you don't have to stay in it though. Bay Prairie lodging is really just old motel rooms...they are nice enough though.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

Dude it's been a looooong time since we went to BP but they ran a great operation...probably the most professional of any I've ever worked with. But I also really like Coastal Wings and their set up. If I wanted to do my own lodging then Coastal Prairie Outdoors...I have not seen their new lodging yet though.
