BWT in 1979 in a rice field outside Bay City. I don't remember if it was early teal (or even if it existed then) but I was in shorts and a camo t-shirt sittin' on a levee with my old man and our Brittany named Sam.

mallard drake in the flooded timber in Stuttgart, AR!!!!!
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Gadwall hen behind the house, shot it with an 870 dad just bought me for Christmas. I stripped down to boxers and swam to get it. It was January. Needless to say I ran home after that cause I was freezing.
But it was enough to get me hooked

If I remember correctly, a Pintail hen in Houma Louisiana! May have been a BWT drake. I shot both on that hunt, not sure which was first...

Mine was a gaddy off of Lake Whitney. I was fourteen, and there was a hole in my hand me down waders, but I've been hooked ever since.

Woodie hen that flushed like a pheasant from nearly under my feet when I started to help my dad pick up the dekes. Think it was the only bird we got that day but it really didn't matter.
